  Riding in colder temperatures will affect the performance of electric bicycles. The key is to ensure that electric bicycles are always stored indoors. Storing your bike in cold weather can damage your tires, motor and battery.

  Relative humidity for battery storage = 45% - 75%
  
  Possible storage temperature range for lithium-ion batteries is -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F), but for long-term storage, the recommended storage temperature is -20°C to 25°C (-4°F to 77°F), and ideally 15°C (59°F). Batteries should be stored at a partial state of charge of 30% to 50% (with at least 2 battery indicators). Although batteries can be stored fully discharged, battery voltage should not drop below 2.0 volts per cell, and batteries should be fully charged to prevent over-discharge. Maximum voltage should not exceed 4.1 volts.
